1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Quiniela Cup ("the app"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. Description of Service

Quiniela Cup is a sports prediction game that allows users to:

• Create or join private friend groups
• Predict outcomes of football (soccer) matches
• Earn points based on prediction accuracy
• Track group leaderboards and standings
• Coordinate friendly pools between group members

3. Nature of the App

Quiniela Cup is NOT a gambling platform. The app is a prediction game designed for entertainment among friends. Important clarifications:

• The app does not accept, process, or hold any real money
• The app does not facilitate gambling, wagering, or betting
• Any financial arrangements between group members are entirely voluntary, external to the app, and between the members themselves
• The "buy-in" and "pool" features are informational tracking tools only
• Users are responsible for complying with local laws regarding friendly pools and social gaming

4. User Accounts

• You must be at least 17 years old to use the app
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
• You must provide accurate information when creating your account
• One account per person

5. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Use the app for any illegal purpose
• Impersonate other users
• Send spam, harassment, or abusive content in group chats
• Attempt to manipulate leaderboards or exploit bugs
• Use automated tools or bots to interact with the app
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code

6. Group Administration

• Group admins are responsible for managing their group's members and settings
• Group admins can remove members, transfer admin rights, and edit group settings
• The app is not responsible for disputes between group members regarding payments or pool management

7. Content

• You retain ownership of content you post (predictions, chat messages)
• By posting content, you grant us a license to display it within the app to other group members
• We may remove content that violates these terms

8. Payment Tracking Disclaimer

The payment tracking feature is provided as a convenience tool only. Quiniela Cup:

• Does not guarantee the accuracy of payment records
• Is not responsible for any financial disputes between users
• Does not act as a financial intermediary, escrow, or payment processor
• Recommends users settle payments directly using their preferred methods

9. Match Data

• Match schedules and scores are sourced from third-party providers
• We strive for accuracy but do not guarantee real-time data
• Scoring and leaderboard calculations are based on official final scores

10. Intellectual Property

Quiniela Cup, its logo, and all related content are the property of Quiniela Cup. Team names, logos, and competition names belong to their respective owners.

11. Limitation of Liability

Quiniela Cup is provided "as is" without warranties. We are not liable for:

• Loss of data or account access
• Inaccurate match data or scoring errors
• Financial losses from pool arrangements between users
• Service interruptions or downtime

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.

14. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the app operator is located.
